Welcome to Solarcom ("Solarcom", "we", "us"). These Terms govern your access to and use of the Solarcom website and community forum (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

4. Community advice is not professional advice

Solarcom is a community forum. Information shared here — including on solar sizing, costs, subsidies, net metering, and installation — is provided by members and for general information only. It is not professional engineering, financial, legal, or tax advice. Always verify details with qualified professionals and official government sources (e.g. your DISCOM and the PM Surya Ghar portal) before making decisions. Solarcom is not responsible for actions taken based on community content.

5. Experts, reputation & badges

"Verified" labels, reputation points, and badges are community signals to help you weigh contributions. They are not a guarantee of accuracy, qualification, or endorsement by Solarcom.

6. Third-party links

The Service may contain links to third-party websites and tools. We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or where required by law. Certain provisions (ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability) survive termination.

8. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solarcom shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service or reliance on its content.
